Volunteering at Oakmont of Mariner Point was truly a heartwarming and enriching experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by friendly staff who were more than happy to guide and support me throughout my time there. The community is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained just walking through the halls gave me a sense of comfort. What stood out the most was the genuine care and attention the team gives to the residents. Every interaction I witnessed was filled with kindness, patience, and respect. I had the opportunity to assist with activities and spend time with the residents, who were incredibly sweet and full of wisdom. Their stories and smiles made my day every time. The leadership at Oakmont is also worth praising. They are organized, compassionate, and clearly value both their team and the residents. I’m grateful for the chance to be a part of such a positive environment, even briefly. I’d gladly volunteer again anytime

Oakmont of Mariner has been a blessing for our family. The staff is warm, caring, and treats everyone like family. My aunt settled in quickly and is happier and more active than she’s been in years. The place is always clean, safe, and full of great activities. My cousins and I have peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

I was shocked to see a bad review about Oakmont of Mariner Point this place is absolutely lovely! The staff is warm, the environment is beautiful, and they truly care. I had a minor concern, and Rudy handled it immediately and professionally. His quick action showed how much they value families here. Highly recommended!

A Truly Outstanding Senior Living Community I have had the pleasure of visiting Oakmont of Mariner Point on multiple occasions, and every time I walk through the doors, I am struck by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care the staff provides. The community itself is beautifully maintained, with a peaceful setting by the water that brings a true sense of calm and comfort. What really stands out is how the team treats residents like family there’s respect, patience, and joy in every interaction. The residents are engaged, active, and well cared for, which is a testament to the leadership and dedication of the staff. Whether it is the personalized care in Memory Care or the vibrant social activities in Assisted Living, Oakmont of Mariner Point goes above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing environment. If you're looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity and compassion, this community is truly one of the best in the area. Highly recommended!

We have experienced bait-and-switch tactics. Not even a full day after the move, we were told that they were moving our loved one to Memory Care due to her care needs. We were told that there would be more attentive care, but the unit in Memory Care has been inhospitable and is contributing to an even more rapid decline in our loved one. It's a cold, dark room in the basement of the building. Requires navigating through two doors just to get to the hallway. The care is not more attentive. If anything, our loved one is more easily ignored since she's out of sight. She lies in bed crying when she's in there. The closet door is broken and she can't access her belongings without help. There's no room for a dresser. The heater isn't responsive to the thermostat; there's cold air from a ceiling vent blowing on her, and they haven't responded to multiple requests to fix this. The pendant they gave her to summon help is a joke. If they respond at all, it takes 20 minutes. This is my loved one's end of life, and instead of spending quality time with her, I'm having to advocate for the care that was promised us. There's been a lack of dignity and respect throughout this experience.
