OAKMONT OF PACIFIC BEACH

Oakmont should be ashamed - Consistent lack of respect for their tenants, staff members, and neighbors alike. Consistent trash, noise, and disturbances regarding machinery and construction around their premises during all hours of the day and week. Constant reports to management staff were left unanswered and denied due to lack of budget and understaffing. Do not expect any sort of quality service or timely response for any matter big or small from their organization as a whole, especially after you already signed the lease!

DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE AS OF 2026. Their facilities have deteriorated and staff members have repeatedly misleading, evasive, and downright lied. My most recent conversation included them stating there are “too many projects and not enough money for maintenance” when I spoke with them on a recorded line. And they are suppose to be responsible for the vulnerable population?? Edit to reply: 2/24/2026 - your blanket response is disingenuous and untruthful as yet another action of poor ethics by oakmont and connected parties. This has been brought to the attention of numerous employees including the director - Sean, Maintenance manager Mason, front desk associate Carrie and various employees at the corporate office located in Irvine. This had been reported as a violation to the city of San Diego and confirmation of this violation was done by Sean on a recorded phone call. Hundreds of documented contacts have been made to Oakmont in regards to this singular issue. It continues to be ignored and neglected, which is my assumption they provide their tenants - POOR, EVASIVE, AND UNTRUTHFUL. I’m Reaffirming due to their fraudulent reply - AVOID AT ALL COST!

A dear family friend has lived at Oakmont in Pacific Beach for eight years. I am constantly impressed by their care, cleanliness and warmth for visitors and residents.

Sandra and the team at Oakmont of Pacific Beach made the transition from in-home care to assisted-living hospice effortless for my family, even during the pandemic. The communication between the staff, hospice, myself and my mother continue to be professional, consistent, attentive and compassionate. The property is modern, well-maintained and inviting. And the food is excellent.

I've been to a lot of assisted living facilities and no exaggeration... This is the best assisted living facility I've ever seen! in every aspect.The staff is very professional, loving and sincerely kind towards there clients. The atmosphere flows sooo perfectly. They have the BEST music/activities/gatherings where they all are REALLY engaged and focused.There bedrooms and bathrooms are AMAZING! I wouldn't feel guilty at all leaving a loved one here they have the best staff ever! Don't change any of ur staff it's too perfect.WELL DONE to management picking your staff :)
