OAKMONT OF SAN JOSE

We moved my mother into this facility about two months ago and she is thriving. She's fairly independent so wasn't sure she wanted to move to such a facility, but we got a good vibe during our tour, thanks primarily to Lisa Koenig, Marketing Director. Lisa was well-informed, organized, extremely helpful, and full of joy! She ensured we saw a range of apartments and did an excellent job telling us about life at Oakmont. What I love about Oakmont is that my mom has eyes on her now, so I worry less about her day-to-day health and well-being (moving, eating, being safe) than I did when she lived at her previous apartment. She's made some friends already, attends mass, and is getting her hair done weekly. Thanks, Lisa, for making Oakmont so appealing! And to the rest of the staff there - all of them! - for being so warm and caring!

Oakmont staff have been wonderful. Both mom and dad are in Traditions Memory care and the team is excellent. Sherry keeps everyone organized, Davi is skilled at keeping residents engaged in meaningful activities, the care staff including Reza, Sherrylyn, Carl, Sophie, and all are caring and compassionate. Knowing my parents are well taken care of is so important. Thank you to all of this amazing team.

Oakmont Senior Living of San Jose is truly exceptional. My father, who had Alzheimer’s, spent his final chapter in their memory care program—and he absolutely thrived. The staff treated him with compassion and dignity, and the activities like flower arranging, making pizza, live music, and singing familiar tunes brought him so much joy. What really stood out was the food. It was real, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared—not pulverized or processed like we saw in other places. Oakmont gave my dad a safe, vibrant, and loving environment, and we are forever grateful.

Oakmont of San Jose is a great place. I moved my parents in February 2025. The caregivers and staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. My parents are happy, safe and enjoy living at Oakmont.

Sherry and her staff are fantastic! My father feels welcome, included, and happily engaged with their help and support. The facility is beautiful, clean, and decorated with tasteful decor. Live entertainment from a variety of performers is provided on a weekly basis. We are so happy to have our loved one part of the Oakmont community.
