OAKMONT OF VALENCIA

DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE AS OF 2026. Their facilities have deteriorated and staff members have repeatedly misleading, evasive, and downright lied. My most recent conversation included them stating there are “too many projects and not enough money for maintenance” when I spoke with them on a recorded line. And they are suppose to be responsible for the vulnerable population?? Edit to reply: 2/24/2026 - your blanket response is disingenuous and untruthful as yet another action of poor ethics by oakmont and connected parties. This has been brought to the attention of numerous employees including the director - Sean, Maintenance manager Mason, front desk associate Carrie and various employees at the corporate office located in Irvine. This had been reported as a violation to the city of San Diego and confirmation of this violation was done by Sean on a recorded phone call. Hundreds of documented contacts have been made to Oakmont in regards to this singular issue. It continues to be ignored and neglected, which is my assumption they provide their tenants - POOR, EVASIVE, AND UNTRUTHFUL. I’m Reaffirming due to their fraudulent reply - AVOID AT ALL COST!

Best Senior Living in town. Food is great, friendly and loving staff. The community is very welcoming, warm staff. Amazing activities that the residents enjoy! Feels like home! The resident families have always good things to tell others. Myla and her team are just amazing! they all go above and beyond!

My mother has been a resident of Oakmont valencia for 8 months and every day is better and better. The staff is exceptional -the young very caring dining staff (Dion and others) and her care staff (Clyde, Deep, Diana, Katarina, Linda) and medication- Christina and front - Willamina, August) sorry if I forgot anyone!! They always make my mom and us feel taken care of. My mom has Parkinson’s and needs extra care and we have been impressed with the level of care. If anything, they overdo the care which is what we need. I’ve been able to relax and focus on my family and work and worry less knowing my mom is in good hands. She lived with us for five years and needed more 24 hour care we could not give. The money is well worth it. And the abundance of activities keeps my mom busy. I looked at the Oakmont Facebook page and realized how my mom is doing so much! She was at the cinco de mayo party, got a picture with a llama and is a champ in bean bag tossing! I also saw all the pictures of outings and realized how I need to get out more like the Oakmont residents! I feel like my mom left the nest and is spreading her wings meeting friends and having fun. I highly recommend Oakmont

Martin was very helpful and had a very pleasant attitude while doing so! He helped me move in and hung up my 50 photos for me! Then i decided to move to a larger place and Martin was there to help me remove and rehung up the photos! What a great asset to Oakmont Valencia

Ok so first I need to highlight the leadership of the community! The beating heart of what this is one of my favorite communities. As a leader I know how important it is to have support and leadership that are passionate about serving others. The culture and environment that Mila ED, Rose Memory Care Director, Jeevon Health services director, and Clyde resident care coordinator have created here is unparalleled and you can feel it as soon as you walk in. The community is filled with joy, love, and community. If you or a loved one is considering an assisted-living I highly recommend you come check this place out.
