HARMONY AT DOUGLASVILLE

My experience at the Oaks at Douglasville has been wonderful. The care and loving environment that Tess and Remy and Edith has shown my sister is so heartfelt. I can go about my normal life because I know she is being very well taken care. My sister has been diagnosed with dementia. She is the longest resident on the memory care side, almost 3 years now and I wouldn’t think of moving her. The facility is always clean the food is always tasty it’s a great place. I’d advise anyone to come in look for yourself if you find your love one needs more care.

My mother-in-law Odessa Johnson has been at Oaks for 2 yrs and she enjoys it there. She loves playing bingo, it's great there are different activities for the residents. Staff is great and Terressia Peterson Director of Nursing has been outstanding. I highly recommend Oaks.

My mother Odessa Johnson has lived at Oaks for 2 years and I’m very pleased with how she is treated. Staff is always willing to help especially Terressia Peterson she has been wonderful to my mom and family. Oaks is very clean and pretty my mom will always comment how much she loves her room. On very warm days she loves sitting outside and watch the people come and go. I highly recommend Oaks for the people you love.

My mother has been at The Oaks in Douglasville since March and it was the best decision ever!!!! She loves it!! The staff and facility have also given our family an incredible amount of peace of mind - especially during this time of dealing with COVID19. She feels safe and well-cared for and we feel confident in the care she gets. The staff communicates well and has done so much to keep their staff and residents safe. If you're considering moving a family member to The Oaks - don't hesitate!

I have only positive things to say about the staff and facilities at the Oaks of Douglasville. We relocated (from the north) our mom at the onset of the pandemic. The staff team is excruciatingly attentive to mitigating risks to the residents and staff. The willingness to consistently update family members is laudable and appreciated. Our mom has a lovely apartment and 5 months later has settled-in nicely. It does a daughter's heart good to know that her mother is safe, healthy and content in her new place. The decor is fresh, bright and contemporary. Attention to every detail is evident throughout the facility. The common areas are inviting and well-maintained. The beautiful bird cage is a daily reminder to enjoy the beauty in every day. We count it a blessing to have discovered the Oaks at Douglasville, a 7-minute drive from one of her offspring. She's happy so we're happy. So much so that we are hoping to relocate another family member to the Oaks at Douglasville in the near future.
