OAKWOOD ASSISTED LIVING & MEMORY CARE

I have been a resident at Laurel Glen for eight months. It is a wonderful place to live with great staff and wonderful residents. There are lots of activities and a spirit of friendliness everywhere. My family searched for just the right place for me and they certainly found that at Laurel Glen. They were greatly assisted by Amy MacDonald who took care to make sure we had the information we needed to make a decision. This place is as advertised, a beautiful facility, well cared for residents, and a wonderful community of which to be a part.

I can’t say enough good things about Laurel Glen Assisted Living. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful — it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping everything clean, comfortable, and inviting. The grounds are lovely and provide such a peaceful atmosphere. What truly sets Laurel Glen apart, though, is the people. The employees are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive — they really treat residents like family and go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels cared for and respected. There’s also such a welcoming sense of community among the residents. It feels like a true home, where friendships are made and everyone looks out for each other. We just moved my mother in and I couldn’t be more pleased with this community.

The staff is truly exceptional - kind, attentive and genuinely caring. The activities coordinator is a rockstar. The activities she plans are creative, engaging and fun. My family is so grateful to have found this place. I highly recommend.

Claudia, Amy and Mangie are advocating on our behalf with the long-term care insurance company. They are professional and I’m thankful we have them in our corner. Laurel Glen is outstanding. The staff is caring and supportive of our family member. This was the only place we felt comfortable, with entrusting the care of our loved one.

I’m so impressed with Laurel Glen. There is a spirit of happiness among community members and the staff that is heartwarming. Great food, friendly neighbors, cute apartments and lots of activities too!
