If I could leave zero stars I would. My mom moved in to assisted living on July 31. Her two emergency buttons (neck pendant and button in bathroom) weren’t working as of August 2. It was only because I was there with her and she needed urgent help that this was noticed. Unacceptable. I walked the unit for a staff person to help and found no one.

I have to agree with Joyanne....I am disgusted too and do not recommend living here for assisted living/snf. This is a very disappointing company, and they appear to be only interested in your money. We were told by intake you have to pay your monthly fee (which could be $8,000 or $9,000+ etc for assisted living) till you pass away. There is no limit at which you can apply for the state funded Medicaid Long Term Care program, they don't do that there. They don't take Medicaid there for assisted living. You pay till you pass away. Never heard of that before, and it shows they only care about your money. Don't even bother with them for assisted living.

My family member was miserable here. The room was a disgusting mess and never cleaned until we complained multiple times. I blame admin for this...there must be a reason people don't want to work there. I actually feel sorry for the CNAs. We had terrible interactions with social work staff here...one in particular. When told by my family member "I just want to go home, how can I go home?" s/he was told by the social worker "that's up to your Healthcare POA." WRONG! How do they not know Wisconsin law? If you have a loved one here, research the laws and the one-party consent laws regarding the recording of conversations. Then don't meet with staff without your device set on record. Also, photograph everything.
