Prior to moving to Oasis Bay Care, our loved one was living out of state in a large facility where she was not well cared for. When she returned to California, she was understandably aggressive at times, disoriented, and frequently attempted to leave. Lauren and Megan met her exactly where she was—with patience, grace, and unwavering professionalism. They kept our family informed every single time an incident occurred, maintained detailed medical logs to share with nurses and physicians, and welcomed us to visit at any time, without hesitation or inconvenience. The care itself was truly top tier. The meals were thoughtfully prepared, nutritious, and so appealing that I often wanted to sit and eat alongside her. When she could no longer feed herself, they were there—calmly, attentively, and respectfully. When solid foods were no longer an option, they immediately adapted by blending meals to ensure she continued receiving proper nutrition. Her room was always clean and orderly, and the home itself was immaculate and welcoming. Every visit was met with the comforting scent of a well-kept, peaceful space. The home is spacious and beautiful, with a lovely backyard and seating area that encourages fresh air and calm reflection. Lauren and Megan went far beyond basic care. When she was still able, they took her on small day trips and drives—something she absolutely loved. She delighted in looking at street signs, roads, and trees. They took her out for ice cream, to the Brentwood Senior Center, and engaged her in meaningful activities both inside and outside the home. These moments mattered. They brought her joy, dignity, and a sense of normalcy. Oasis Bay Care lovingly cared for our family member from September 1 through January 2, 2026, when she ultimately passed. I firmly believe the exceptional care she received there prolonged her life and allowed her not just to survive—but to thrive longer than she otherwise would have. She passed peacefully, with old-school Motown playing softly in the background—exactly the way she would have wanted. Had she been placed in a locked facility, the experience would have caused trauma, fear, and an earlier passing. Instead, she was surrounded by warmth, respect, and what I can only describe as Extreme Human Care. I cannot thank Lauren and Megan enough for the love they poured into our loved one. I recommend Oasis Bay Care with my whole heart and deepest gratitude.
