OHANA CARE HOME

I hesitated writing a review secondary to privacy reasons. At this point I feel like everyone should know how great of a facility this is. My father was HARD from diagnosis to the end. Care facilities would say they could handle him but they couldn’t. I soo wish I found Ohana sooner. Maybe my dad would still be here. Under their care, he had 3+ year old wounds that cleared up! He was constantly clean shaven, hair cut and finger nails were clean. I never ever ever worried. I had my dad in a big box memory facility. It was beautiful inside but couldn’t provide adequate care for my father. I then explored this home type facilities. I felt like they loved my dad. They would call me when they noticed he needed anything (they beat me to the punch sometimes). I loved that the owner of the facility lived right next door to the place. He could come by at any time. Every family should really tour and find a facility that is the right fit BUT I hope Ohana is a part of your journey.

Ohana care home took care of my father, who had alzheimer's and was unable to stand. I feel very comfortable recommending them as a best in class provider for even the highest needs elderly patients. This is a family run operation that truly cares about their residents. The key differentiators for me were: - Truly cared about my Dad and his well being - Able to build a rapport, gain his trust, and listen to his stories - High level of attention to detail - They were clearly very on top of things like medications, coordinating with doctors and home heath providers (the home health provider (a separate company that brings in nurses etc) said that Ohana was the most “on top of things” of any home they worked with. This was something that was said to me unsolicited and not part of a sales pitch. - Operationally set up to provide a high level of service (not understaffed relative to the number of patients) I highly recommend Ohana for any elderly patient that needs a high level of care.

I have visited Ohana's place from a third party. I am absolutely impressed how Dan and his team care for their residents. They cook from scratch, Facility is always clean and the residents are tended to and it reflects on how happy all the residents seemed. You can always trust Dan to care for your love one. I'm so happy there are still people that really cares and put their hearts into caring for others.

I recently toured Ohana Care Home and was truly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with spacious and well-maintained rooms. Dan and his staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a peaceful environment for residents. It’s a place where one feels cared for and at home. I would highly recommend you tour the facility!
