I gave Legacy five stars. Not too many places get five stars, but I have been to skilled nursing places quite a few times. My sister has also been to Legacy and she had a very complex cancer care so one of the reasons I picked Legacy was I could see the terrific care she got when I got here. I was a little worried because I have a lot of physical needs And I had heard good things about their Physical Therapy which Physical Therapy was very important to me. I have now been here two months and have no regrets. I was pretty much staying in my room because I was a little depressed because of my condition, but the girls from activities kept would pop their head in every day and sit and invite me to activities. One of them had heard I was a great blackjack player at the last place I lived. I was a great blackjack player and also I taught blackjack and so the activities people here asked me very much if I would please teach them blackjack finally I said sure and I was so glad I did. It was a tremendous amount of fun for everyone Since then I am I participate in the activities with no regrets. The only thing I would suggest they improve upon would be the food, but to tell you the truth, as I did, I have been in a lot of skilled nursing facilities and the food here is among the best Thank you Cathy Grainger

I had Open Heart Triple Bypass on 6/23/25. I spent a week in the John Muir Cardiac care unit. Then I was transferred to Legacy post-op/rehab in Martinez. It was recommended by my Cardiologist because they follow his Cardiac Protocol. Right away I was made to feel at home. And I could tell that the entire staff were a team. The Administrator/RN's/CNA's/ PT/OT/ Dietary/ Social worker/ worked together to meet my needs and be sure that I knew how to protect my Sternum. They were intelligent/professional and cared about me. I have been here 10 days and have learned so much from them regarding my safety. I cannot begin to say how great an experience but have had. I have visited other post op care facilities and Legacy far exceeds any others.. The entire staff works together for my good. With limited arm use, I am becoming self sufficient. I believe they follow the Cardiac protocol to the letter. It has been a very positive experience. Thank you to all the wonderful staff..

Healing care. The two go together, and never more powerfully than at Legacy Post Acute Care, where the doctors, nurses, and supportive staff are not only well trained but are also well motivated to help you through a troubling time. Events like open heart surgery will never be enjoyable but the time will pass and the knowledge that an entire staff is with you will bring you through it all more confidently than you ever thought possible.

I came to Legacy Post-Acute Care after my hip replacement, and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time in a skilled nursing facility, and I didn’t know what to expect. When I arrived, I couldn’t walk. But thanks to the incredible therapy team and the support of the entire staff, I’m now leaving fully independent. The care here is amazing. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Any time I pressed the call light, someone was there right away—usually more than one person. The food was tasty, and the therapy team went above and beyond to get me back on my feet. I would recommend Legacy to anyone. They helped me recover, regain my strength, and feel confident again.

I visited the Legacy facility today for the 1st time and overall... Very Impressed! Very Clean, oder Free, lots of quality Staff. Strong, competent, caring and professional Leadership. Extremely Quiet, no screaming confused patients, No call bells going off unanswered. The few residents I saw in the halls, lobby's seemed content and well cared for. Highly recommended for anyone's family members. Great Job folks! Steve M
