There’s a lazy maintenance worker who flirts with Sarah (Dagny’s eyes and ears). Run from this place!! The food is good, although no one really knows how to cook."

I have been volunteering in the Activities Department every other Friday for about two years. I play games with the residents, talk, and most importantly, listen to whatever they have to say. I share stories with them, and they seem to welcome that interaction by laughing and sharing their own stories with me. Kimberly and her staff - Shastina and Kay, are also ready to listen, and help with anything a resident needs. These three ladies go above and beyond their job descriptions! There’s always something new going on - a dance, a new game, lots of things to keep their minds and bodies active!

Caring staff that go above and beyond the normal requirements for their residents. The atmosphere is more like a big family than just an assisted living facility. The activity department is absolutely the best in Jackson County! The director and her assistants are always coming up with new and exciting activities for their residents. Your loved one would never be bored if they lived at the Orchards. They make sure that all the residents that choose to be involved and active have some to do all day.
