Our Home is a wonderful nurturing environment ! Kathleen, the Director, is a nurse, a problem solver, knowledgeable and caring. The staff are skilled, patient and friendly. After two unsuccessful placements in the Sebastopol-Santa Rosa area, Our Home was where my 80 year old friend was given the structure and routine , with a safe and accepting family-feeling, to finally heal enough from three surgeries and ensuing dementia to return to her home and husband. Definitely consider Our Home for your Loved one!

Our Home is an exceptional care facility. Kathleen the owner and her husband George have a very caring staff. My wife and I both placed our mothers at Our Home and were very happy with everything. We felt more like family and both of our mothers would agree how nice everyone is there. We would highly recommend this home for a loved one. In fact I still stop by Our Home to say hello to the staff (whoever might be working) and the patients of course and sometimes I bring ice cream. This is a great place!

Our elderly mother lived a little over 4 years at Our Home and just passed away recently. I can’t say enough about the wonderful, attentive and caring staff. Kathleen, the administrator, was always responsive and quick to let us know about any issues with Mom. Everyone was so friendly and there was always something wonderful cooking on the stove whenever we went to visit. I highly recommend Our Home to anyone looking for a caring and loving place for their elderly family members.

Our 92-year-old mother lived at Our Home from November 2021 to July 2022, after a bout in the hospital and acute care facility left her weak and unable to care for herself when she returned to her apartment, even with in-home caregivers. She was doing so poorly, she started on Hospice just before moving to Our Home. She thrived at Our Home, and was removed from Hospice care after only two months at Our Home, as she had become stable and stronger. The staff was attentive and kind, and the place has a family-like atmosphere. The deck is welcoming and Mom spent a lot of time on the deck looking at plants and birds. We often visited her on that deck. Whenever there was any concern about our mother, we were contacted immediately. Owner Kathleen is a nurse and often present, and communicates well with her staff. Starting in July of this summer, we moved Mom to Sonora, to live with me. She continues to do well, enjoying the outdoors, news programs on television, and games of Scrabble. We are grateful to Our Home for the care and respite they provided our family.

Our Home provided care to my 92 year old mother after she broke her hip and needed support during her rehabilitation. Kathleen and her team of caregivers were absolutely wonderful! They encouraged mom to function to the best of her ability while providing delicious and nutritious meals, socialization and perfect hygiene. Even when COVID 19 came, they took all precautions and kept mom safe. We highly recommend Our Home to anyone searching for a high quality clean, peaceful and caring assisted living facility.
