Our House of Ogden

Our House was a warm and extremely inviting place, so much that after a short tour, we decided to place our 99 year old mother in their care.

I would highly suggest Our House Assisted Living of Ogden to anyone looking for a safe, secure home for their loved ones needing assistance.. my mom has been living there for almost 6 months and loves it. The community is exactly what she needed! I haven’t seen her this happy in years!! And the friends she has made!! Everyone is treated like family! The care is amazing! Thank you to Jordan and her staff for the love they give my mom!!

Recently, the day after Thanksgiving, I venture out to "Ourhouse" to visit my mother who resides in the memory care section at 2:15pm. When my wife and I had walked through the secure doors and into the common area, I was shocked to find my mother face down on the floor in the hallway. Her cheek was bleeding, her right hand was bleeding and not a member of the staff in sight. I had to run yelling down the hall in the open "non-memory care" section to find anyone to help. After I informed the two staff members (one who later informed me she had just gottenon shift) that two patients were on the floor, I found another resident on the floor when I got back. My wife had to stay with my mother to try see if my mother was OK. There wasn't a member of staff back in that memory care until I went looking for one. Not acceptable. When I started questioning the staff, they just said that it's not their fault, we are under staffed. Not acceptable. With the amount that is being paid by my mother and other residents in the memory care, there should darn well be a staff member locked in the memory along with the residents at all times.

I feel really grateful my cousin was able to move here. They have a beautiful facility and the staff is kind and helpful. There are many activities to do and I feel like my cousin is well cared for. Thank you Our House!

Our house is an amazing place. My aunt was moved there and I can already tell a difference in her. They truly care about the staff and the people who live there. Would be a place I will always recommend! They have fun activities too!
