OUR HOUSE WHITEWATER MEMORY CARE

As a community partner and hospice provider, I cant say enough good things about Our House! The management is always knowledgeable about the residents, responsive to their needs and reach out about concerns promptly. The facility is clean, smells lovely and has multiple areas for residents to gather and socialize. Their activities director has something engaging and fun going on daily too! They are a delight to work with and somewhere I would place any family member of mine

I recently placed my dad, who has early onset dementia, into memory care at Our House. From the first time we toured to moving in, the process was so smooth! Angela (the director) was so kind and personable and really worked with us to ensure a smooth transition for my dad. You could tell she genuinely cares about her position and the residents, it did not feel stuffy or like a “business”. Every interaction with staff has been kind and respectful. I’m glad we found our house!

I just placed my father at Our House - Whitewater and am VERY impressed in how the staff and Angela (Director) takes care of the residents. Before placing my father, I asked workers and residents if they liked it there and everyone said that they love it there. The care they show the residents is OUTSTANDING! Always planning activities, staff involved with the residents, and the care/love they show the residents is amazing! My dad says, "They know my name, the food is great, and everyone is so nice here"! There you have it - direct from my father's mouth! HIGHLY recommend!

I visit this facility often and when I come staff are very kind and welcoming. The care staff are often seen interacting with the residents and doing activities as a whole. I have never been in a facility and seen a staff training that also included residents. One day I came in and there was a dementia training, staff was able to do things that showed how hard it was to physically do things if you have dementia. Not only do the staff provide care, you can tell they actually care about what they do. The admin is also amazing!! COMMUNICATION is huge in the healthcare field and I never miss a beat when it comes to staff communication and I can’t stress how thankful I am for that.

Angela and her staff went the extra mile for my dad to get him in to Our House. They all were welcoming and kind and made my dad feel at home. The facilities were clean and decorated for fall and homelike, residents were out and doing activities and smiling. Walking in felt like home. I think my dad is going to like being here. Angela’s building is well taken care of and you can see that she loves and cares about what she does and her residents that live there. There are activities scheduled every month and residents like to attend outings in the community. I am so glad my dad gets to be somewhere where he will be well taken care of and I look forward to being apart of the Our House Family. They are knowledgeable and experienced in Memory care and help the residents stay connected to the community. Thank you Angela, Cassandra, Tish and all the staff at Our House for making a difference with the people you take care of and they’re families.
