People make all the difference: the administrator, patient caregivers, and even the cook have been welcoming and caring. The smaller environment feels like “home” with more opportunity than we could provide our mom for social, community, hobbies, health and wellbeing activities. Our House offers just the right balance of privacy and assistance, structure and choice for our mom to access her best healthy and positive daily living.

We visited Our House Senior Living with my sister-in-law who is considering a move into assisted living. The administrator, Tammy, is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and empathetic. Don't know what the final decision will be yet, but Our House is definitely one of the top choices.

We moved my mom to Our House a month ago. She has dementia was very scared at first, but Tammy and her staff have made her feel so welcome and at home! My mom is flourishing there, they have so many fun activities planned. They take little trips to the zoo and the lake! They play games and do crafts. My mom is having so much fun and I haven't seen her this happy in a long time! The staff are all so friendly and patient. The facility is very clean and it is beautiful place. I would highly recommend Tammy and her staff at Our House if you are looking for a place for your loved one!

The staff at Our House is wonderful! They care about their residents. Lynn is an amazing activities director and finds ways to get residents involved and welcomed. I like that it is a smaller facility which has made my mom feel much more comfortable.

The hardest words I've heard my mom say is that it was time to find her a safer place to live than at home. We looked at all the ones in Wisconsin Rapids & found ones in all price ranges. We decided on placing mom at Our House Senior Living because of how it felt when we first came in for a visit. From the residents to the staff everyone said hi to us as we came in our while taking the tour. It felt welcoming & like home!!! Even tho there were other assisted living places that were less expensive than Our House.....it was the way it felt when we came in that made us choose Our House. Mom is thriving here & it gives me a lot of stress remove. My husband & I can now do things like fishing or traveling or going out of town for a nice dinner without the worry if mom would fall while we were gone. Mom loves the staff here (as do my husband & myself) & it's good to see Mom smile more!! Without any hesitation I would recommend Our House Senior Living of Wisconsin Rapids to anyone looking to place their loved one. Tammy & her whole staff are blessings & angels to families whose loved ones are living here!!!
