My experience over the past 1 and 1/2 years has been very positive. Dana and Lori have been incredible to work with. Their kindness and thoughtfulness towards my feeling comfortable and a part this community has meant so much to me. I recommend Our Lady of Peace to anyone looking for a place to feel at home.

Our Lady Of Peace is a over rated nursing home facility. Let start off with the dining room my mother in law has told me things I could not just believe, Alex ignoring her when she wants to talk to him about the issue with the meals it’s honestly ridiculous. That’s all I have to say I wouldn’t recommend this place!

My nana doesn't want to be named but the biggest problem she had in that place was the food and the management behind the food, she said it was an older fellow there named Alex who always ignored her special requests for food, she noticed when she was there before she passed, that the days he was there the food seemed rubbery and cold and just down right disgusting, other days they were better, she believed before she passed that a management change was needed because whoever Alex is, he seemed too relax and nonchalant about everything, almost like a good mean for an elderly person wasn't important.

Horrible facility! They overpromise and under deliver. Not to mention the times that I came to visit he was covered in feces as was his room saturated with urine all over the floor. This was not the only patient that was found in this situation. Multiple other families have reported them to the state within the last 30 to 60 days. My poor father had to stay there for almost a year. Because my father did not fit the typical cookie cutter dementia patient they wanted him out because of his ambulatory status. Instead of working diligently with our family because we were in agreement to find him another facility to reside in that would offer a private room they called 911 and claimed he had an altered mental status change. Upon arrival to the hospital every single last one of his test were negative. This was their way of dumping my father with no solid discharge plan in place! Due to the quick change in his environment multiple different medications were given to him and his body did not tolerate them well which sent him into a rage of agitation with a seven day hospital stay. I am a nurse myself and in this direct line of work in Florida. I just want everyone to know the care that he received at this facility and in no way shape or form was it up to a five star standard of care or a $7500 a month payment fee to live there. Please be mindful when you’re doing your research for your loved ones to look for long-term care and not choose this facility!
