My experience was wonderful. Marae and her associate were patient, friendly, answered every question and helped me set up EFT with my bank. They encouraged me to call any time 🥹

Our dad moved to The Overlook in November and said he would give it a couple of months, but was planning to go back home after Christmas. December came, and he didn’t mention anything about leaving. Last week, he said that it was the best move he could have made and said that he was sorry he waited so long! Best apology I’ve ever received!!! The staff is so caring, attentive, and oh so loving! The food is wonderful, and several of the other residents have made him feel like family! Highly recommend placing a family member here, so that they be spoiled, too.

The Overlook has been a blessing for my mother and our family. Everyone is very caring and she feels safe and cared for. Mandi is a very special person and caregiver. She pays close attention to her needs and makes her feel loved. My mother is very happy.

If you are looking for extended private and loving care ask that your loved ones be given care by Mandi at overlook Toccoa. She’s absolutely the best at her calling as caregiver and she totally has invested her personality and caregiving abilities. If not for Mandi I know for certain that both mom and dad would be in a different place by now! Overlook keep it in a positive direction please!

As a home health nurse who frequently is inside the Overlook and behind closed doors with staff and patients as well. I hear from my patients the care they receive, concerns as well as the raves I get the privilege of hearing from my patients about those who have been entrusted to care for them as their own family. The name I hear over and over again from patients and their families is caregiver Mandi Head. One particular patients daughter told me “ we love Mandi, she can get mama to do anything, they have a great connection “ it’s a great feeling knowing as a nurse that my patients are receiving the best care not just in the lobby area but behind those closed doors! That’s when it really counts. When no one is looking or listening! The team they have now in the kitchen is absolutely fantastic Becky and Debra make meal time not just full of great tasting food but time to enjoy laughter, big smiles and great conversations! Love this group!
