My mom needed an assisted living place to move to, we looked at several places but was assured that Pacifica was such a good place to take your loved one and has such a great reputation, boy was I wrong!! She was not even there a year and we watched this place go downhill!!! The director that was there when she moved in was great and had been there for sometime but she left, unfortunately the new director felt that my moms needs were greater than what Pacifica could handle even though they are a AL2 facility. Mom and I watched 4 head nurses leave, the chef walked out, did not even have enough staff to provide services to the tenants there during the 10 months she was there. This facility is very old and smells old. We were very disappointed that Pacifica had us move again and find another place for mom to live, they kicked her out. Fortunately we did find a very beautiful facility that opened their arms out for my mom to come live and she is extremely happy now and they are very happy to accommodate her. Do your homework and make sure you find out how good the place you choose is running well and does not have high amounts of turnovers of staff or directors. There are a lot of good Assisted Living places out there just look for them. Pacifica is NOT one of them! Your loved one deserves the best care and to be happy, its also a peace of mind for yourself knowing your loved one is in good hands...

I will be forever grateful for the care and love that Pacifica provided to my mother. Every person at Pacifica; whether it be someone who works in the kitchen, as an aide, within the administration team, or at the front desk has an extraordinary heart and a vital role in what makes Pacifica an incredible place to live. I personally watched the caring staff take on many different roles at various times to ensure that the best care is being given. Each person gives a 110% every day and goes above and beyond in caring for the residents and their families. I couldn't have been happier with the care, the communication, and the friendliness that my mother received when she lived at Pacifica.

I recently toured Pacifica Senior Living-Millcreek and had a complimentary lunch and visited with the staff. The food is amazing and very mouth watering to say the least! The staff genuinely cares, very helpful, friendly, and make you feel welcome! The community is fun and I love seeing the residents participate in the activities with a lot of smiles and laughter. It's a great place!

We have a family friend staying here and I wish she weren't. I would describe this facility as an elderly detention center. I really feel for these seniors who are stuck here, and I advise that anyone looking to house their elderly family member look for a better place. I have never seen them fed anything but canned food that is so unappetizing, it is no wonder why the seniors look so emaciated. The carers have very little concern for the health of the seniors and I have seen many working while they are sick, exposing the seniors to colds and flus. The building itself is very dangerous. The parking lot also gets extremely slippery in winter which puts the seniors at a huge risk. all in all, please treat your elderly family member with more respect- find somewhere else to get them the help they need. ------- In light of your surprisingly thorough research into my relatives and going out of your way to approach them in person, your feedback about my review has indeed reached me! I am not mistaken with my identification of Pacifica but I am happy that you have responded so avidly to my concerns. As my friend is at your care facility, I am happy to hear you have hired a new winter snow removal company. It's a shame that benches in the hallways are against the fire code, so to those of you interested in moving here I recommend requesting a room near the elevator. I hope to see your improvements to the menu and activities when I return to Salt Lake over the holidays.

The staff consistently greets us with big smiles. So helpful and caring with attention to details too. The facility is beautiful and well kept. Right now it is decorated for Christmas; each holiday special decoration is added to the common areas which is fun. My mom is very happy there we enjoy coming by to see her AND the staff!
