Palolo Chinese Home is the best nursing facility on the island. The facility is clean, has very skilled nurses, friendly and compassionate workers, great food, plenty of parking, and overall a peaceful place to heal.

Palolo Chinese Home (PCH) Responsive and kind staff: Staff members are prompt in responding to resident needs, smile, and show kindness and compassion. Good food and dining experience: the food is tasty and nutritious with the flexibility to accommodate dietary restrictions. Chef Aaron Love was former chef at Sheraton Waikīkī hotel. Cleanliness and environment: the facility is clean, comfortable environment. Facilities and rooms are well-kept. Engaging activities and amenities: A wide variety of activities, such as arts and crafts, physical therapy, and socializing. PCH / Palolo has a 2 story older wing, a one story new wing shaped like a rectangle, and an administration building that seems to be empty most of the time. The entire facility has an interesting history contained in their archives, including a Kapiolani Community College term paper under my real name done around 2013. I would recommend anyone to put their loved ones here.
