Panda Family Home, Llc

I had my father at another bigger facility and it was fine but I relocated him to the Panda Family home because when I interviewed with the owners they struck me as genuine and serious about the level of care. I liked that it was a small operation. They don't subcontract to other companies, use agency nurses, or operate this place like absentee landlords. One of the owners of the facility actually has his office in the facility and is their almost daily at all hours, including early in the morning and late at night. That means the staff know that the boss is always watching. The husband-wife duo who run the facility is hands on: he does a lot of the work on troubleshooting the physical property (if anything tech needs repair: internet, broken bed remote, tv, outlet). His wife, who is the co-owner, is a nurse and she is also always there on site and she keeps eagle eye on all medical issues. They visit rooms. Sit with families. The husband even runs exercise workouts for some of the patients. All to say, this is an unusually impressive facility with lots of direct personalized attention. I can't commend it enough.

I do not normally write reviews but this is an exception worth making. Panda home is special because they are incredibly responsive. You email or call them and they get back to you immediately, like within hours. I think that is because the facility is highly tech oriented and the owners monitor everything as if the patients are their own parents. When we wanted a change in the food menu, when we wanted the room temperature changed, when there was an issue with the tv, when we had a headache with medicare, the staff at Panda home fixed it right away and they did not cop an attitude about our request for help. This is unlike what I have experienced elsewhere

One thing I always worry about with elder care homes is cleanliness and responsiveness. I don't want my mother getting sick because there isn't enough aggressive cleaning and hygiene management. This was a big worry especially in covid times. Panda home is among the cleanest facilities I've ever seen. Maybe that is because the owners are there on site and they notice small things. Maybe it's because the facility is very new, only built and renovated in recent years. But for whatever reason, this was a big factor that I have been so happy with the place.

Panda's caretakers are amazing and provided a stable and genuinely loving environment for my dad. The facilities were very well kept.

Panda Family Home is a amazing location that gives individuals with any physical or mental challenges or retiring an arena to shine and feel important.
