Five stars is not enough! From the moment I walked into Park Place 2.5 years ago and sat with Megan and Kim, I knew this was going to be home for my mom. I did tour 4 other facilities in the Ft. Wayne area and none compared to Park Place. I can’t sing the praises of the entire amazing staff enough. There is a total sense of family throughout Park Place. For anyone that may be considering a senior living place for a loved one, ask about what type of staffing there is. If the answer is an “agency” staff, politely bow out. Sadly, we learned that the hard way at another facility. One of the criteria we had was to have a memory care unit within Park Place, as we knew eventually it would be needed. Which brings me to the memory care unit. The love and passionate care given to my mom and all those within the unit can’t be described. The amount of activities to keep everybody busy is amazing. There is physical therapy right on site. Words just can’t describe how incredible our experience was with assisted living as well as memory care.

We first started looking at Park Place when my mother in law started needing more care that we e could give her at home. We began talking to Megan about options and what services were available. Unfortunately, circumstances forced us to go a different route. Through all of it, Megan was right there, giving us names and numbers of people that she trusted to give us the best care for my mother in law. Could not believe that someone would go to that much trouble for people when we were not using their facility. She gained my trust and respect! Fast forward a few years and we found us in need for a facility for my mom. It was a no brainer, Park Place was our 1st choice! Megan, Kimm, Merle, just to name a few have gone above and beyond to make not only my mom, but our entire family feel welcome and comfortable at Park Place. I seriously, cannot say enough about how wonderful the Park Place family is! If you are looking for someplace that will give your loved one the kind of care you would, look no further, Park Place ot THE place for your loved one!

My Mom has been at Park Place in excess of 5 years and thought she would only be there a couple of weeks in the beginning! Now, after 5 years she seems to feel at home, takes cues from the staff to guide her through her daily activities and knows many people (staff as well as residents), maybe not by name but by facial recognition. I feel the staff checks on her as much as they can given their total work load. My wife and I are notified whenever anything regarding Mom occurs and feel confident she is taken care of. As Mom progresses into the world of Medicaid needs, Park Place staff has been invaluable in helping me with advice to progress through the confusing government paperwork (still in process).

We knew the moment we finished our tour & informational meeting that Park Place was the perfect setting for our dad to begin his next chapter. After losing his spouse a year earlier and in his current health no longer able to live alone at home…. moving to an apartment in the assisted living was a wonderful transition. Their staff was fantastic with the moving in & assembly of new items. Dad enjoyed the meals & even made new friends within the first week. They offered everything in house from physical therapy to haircuts. Had many activities & entertainment each week and would personally make sure dad was involved for the socialization benefits. It was just the right environment with independence for him. Yet we knew he had people caring and watching over him like family. It’s just the right size that everyone knows your name.

Park Place Senior Living has been an amazing home for my grandma! She lives in their independent living, and our family couldn’t be happier with the care, community, and overall atmosphere. The staff is always warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure residents feel safe and comfortable while still maintaining their independence. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, with beautiful common areas and plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. If you’re looking for a senior living community that truly cares about its residents, I highly recommend Park Place!
