Overall, a good place for people in the early/middle stages of memory loss, but very poor care for people in the late stages of memory care, especially near the end of life. For over $8000/month, the care administered is nowhere close to where it needs to be to justify the exorbitant cost, especially when there is considerable negligence with personal belongings (like jewelry), impatience of staff toward residents, and staff not paying attention to residents who are in pain or in need of assistance (but are looking at their phones instead). All I can say is, having hospice come in and tend to my mother was the only positive experience; they would often have to berate the staff for not being caring enough. I would encourage people to be careful when selecting a facility for their loved ones; choose a place where the staff members would recommend for their own family members to live their final years/months. I am confident that the staff of Parkview would not be able to make the recommendation.
