Bad experience at Parkview! My mom had dementia and we placed her there. She was there for six days and was admitted to the hospital with a UTI and dehydrated. The day before she was admitted I visited her and she was pushed into the bathroom in her wheelchair facing the toilet and left that way. When we filled out the paperwork for admission there was one portion we were told to wait and that on admission day a nurse would go over all mom’s like/dislikes and get an idea of her limitations! Never happened. We waited over an hour and finally were told we could leave. No nurse available to speak with us There for six days for over $5000! And no partial refund per admin at Parkview!!! Edit: My mom spent a week in the hospital after the bathroom incident and passed away

My mother in law was admitted to facility and there only a few days before having to go into the hospital . She was not able to return to Parkview and the facility management will not refund the money for the time she wasn’t there -almost 3weeks. Bad business . This is completely unacceptable

If you're looking for a retirement home (a private house), apartment or a facility that houses up to a 80 to 100 clients (personal family members) this is one of the better facilities that's located in Sanford, NC. For the family members that chooses to live in a house or apartment, the business has a grounds keeper, for the upkeep of the property. Also, everyone that is a resident of Parkview, gets served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each resident has a parking space for their personally owned vehicle (POV). For the residents that has the insurance, or capable of paying out of pocket, there are professional caretakers that are licensed by the state, to give your precious loved ones the care and attention that they deserve.
