Peabody Retirement Community

My mother-in-law is a resident at Peabody and I can say that it has transformed her and given her life back to her. She admitted after being neglected at another facility - catatonic and contracted - the Nursing and Therapy teams at Peabody worked so diligently with her and she is now thriving! Today she walks, participates in a variety of activities, goes on shopping outings, goes to Chapel and Bible Study, and has made friends with her neighbors and others! Full transparency, I am the Administrator at Peabody, but having seen so many other success stories I know this is because of the love and commitment of the people at Peabody and not because her daughter-in-law is the Administrator. :)

My father-in-law went into this retirement home a few years ago. He had dementia and we couldn’t care for him so they stepped in. They did a wonderful job with him and he loved all them as well. This place is beautiful and doesn’t smell like most places. The patients are always clean as well as the area itself. On my father-in-laws last days here with us they stayed with him and made him truly comfortable. I will always recommend Peabody for anyone that needs help with loved ones.

This place took very good care of my great Grandmother -- also the nearby parks allow for some recreation with those elderly folks who can still get out and about a little.

My mom has been at Peabody in assisted living for three years. My mom is very happy being a part of this community. I feel the staff does a wonderful job caring for her. This has been a very unexpected, stressful and busy year for the staff. During this time, the staff has risen to the occasion and worked to make sure all the residents are well cared for. Peabody has been proactive as well as reactive in this difficult pandemic time. We truly appreciate all your efforts. I receive the automated phone message as well as the daily emails and always look forward to hearing the next steps in the forward progression to tackling this virus. During the summer, I have been able to visit my mom outside for weekly visits. During that time, we walk around the grounds and look at all the flowers. The grounds are very well maintained and my mom really enjoys looking at all the landscaping. I would recommend Peabody to anybody and I'm sure my mom would also!
