ANOINTED SENIOR LIVING

My mother moved to Anointed 9 months ago and it was one of the best decisions our family made. The staff was so attentive and helpful with all of my mothers needs and wants. The activity director was so positive and full of energy. The activities were so fun to join or just watch as the residents joined in as best they could. The facility was always clean and safe for our mother so when I left after a visit, I knew she was in good hands.

My mother lived for 8 months at Anointed before passing at age 97. I am eternally grateful for the amazing care they provided to her when she began to suffer from dementia. Because of their loving care, I have many joyful and happy memories of my Mom's time at Anointed. The staff was always responsive, always kind and eager to find the good in everyone. I was so impressed with their positive attitudes at all times. Mom didn't participate in many activities, but she was still invited every day and encouraged to join in repeatedly. Pearla cut and styled Mom's hair with such care, and Elda is a great administrator, never too busy to help out or just say hi and ask how my visit with Mom had been. Everyone was extremely professional. Sometimes visits were hard because many folks living at Anointed need extensive help, but this is definitely the place where you want your loved one when they cannot live alone anymore.

The staff here is terrific. They are loving and compassionate to the residents. My sister has been here almost two years. The owners take great care of the facility, food is good and the activities are varied and encourage participation.

It's been 7 months since making one of the hardest decisions of my life and I couldn't have done it without the caring, supportive, and skilled staff at Anointed. Moving my mom to memory care was incredibly emotional and scary but over the last 7 months I've seen how loved and cared for every resident is there and it's so comforting. Elda does such a great job listening and accommodating any request I have and never makes me feel bad about the stage of the journey I'm on as a loved one processing it ALL. Shane, the activities director, has unending energy, optimism and love for his residents and staff and it shows up in everything they do. From the live music concerts, to holiday celebrations, to physical activities with balloons and pool noodles and art and movies, and family events, I really can't think of anything they haven't thought of. I also LOVE the interior courtyard that's safe and accessible for my mom to get some fresh air and sunlight on her own. I am so thankful our senior living agency found Anointed for us and while it's a bittersweet experience knowing this might be my mom's last place to live, I'm comforted by the hearts who are surrounding me in this final chapter of her life. xoxo

We especially appreciate how they keep families involved and informed — the communication has been excellent. Anytime we have had a question or concern, it has been addressed within 24 hours, usually less. You’ve given us peace of mind, and you’ve given our loved one a second home.
