PEE DEE GARDENS

I had the pleasure to tour this warm, inviting, and welcoming community. From the moment I walked in it felt like home. The staff were professional, compassionate, and truly made me feel comfortable and supported. You can tell the team genuinely cares about their residents.

When my father and his wife suddenly needed professional care, we were unsure of what to do next. It was so hard to make the choice to move them into an assisted living facility. But meeting and talking with Melody assured all of us that, not only would they be cared for, they would be loved. That was 5 years ago. We’ve never regretted that choice. We have all been loved by the beautiful souls at PeeDee Gardens. They nurtured, nudged, and lifted up our parents (sometimes literally!) every day. I can’t imagine the last five years with out their smiling faces and warm hugs and hello’s whenever we visited. Tragically, we had to move them away from each other this week. It was an excruciating choice. And we will all miss the love and dedication of the entire staff, from the chef to the front desk. Thank you to all of you. You made a profound impact on our lives.

My father-in-law, Wilbur, has been a resident at PDG for almost 3 and a half years, and he has loved his time there. Before he moved in he was stressed, had low weight, low energy, and very little social interaction, and it was evident that his health was suffering. Within months of moving in, he started gaining weight back, his color came back to his face, he was more energetic and excited to tell us about the new friends he was making. Even now that he's been there for over three years, he still thanks me almost every time we talk (which is often) for moving him there. He tells me all the time that living there has removed almost all stress from his life and he feels the most at peace he's ever felt in his life. He brags about how good the staff are to him. He loves going on the group outings every week, and enjoys the other social activities in the facility, too. Knowing that he is comfortable, happy, and very well cared for has taken so much stress off of our family. The staff are all very responsive and communicate well with our family about his care, his needs, etc. They recognize us when we visit and are so warm and friendly. The whole place feels like a big home filled with friends and family. If you are in a stage of life where assisted living is a consideration, you can't find better care than Pee Dee Gardens. We are forever grateful to them for giving Wilbur a safer place to call home.

Pee Dee Gardens is a wonderful facility. The staff is phenomenal with the residents. It is clean and the residents all seem happy. Very welcoming. I would highly recommend.

My mom has been at PeeDee Gardens for 5 years, it has been the best experience we could have ever asked for. The staff truly loves and cares for everyone. I would not take her anywhere else, the staff always keeps me updated on everything going on with my mom. She loves the activities and excursions that they do.If you need a place for your loved one , Pee Dee Gardens is the place for you!
