I took a tour of this facility and was impressed. The building is well kept up and clean. Many things are included in the monthly rate. I spoke with a few residents and all said they were very happy living there. They do allow pets and have washer & dryer in each room. Renee that gave me the tour was pleasant and was happy to answer any questions. Sadly, this is the most expensive place I have seen yet. They do offer much more than other places and I wish I could live here. But it is out of my price range. I encourage anyone to check it out for yourselves.

I currently live at Dove Estates. From the first time I came to tour,I felt welcome. Everyone greeted us warm and friendly. I have lived here over a year, made many friends of residents and families.The staff members all go above and beyond to help. I looked at many places, but the moment I walked in the doors and met Deanna ,Renee, people along the tour, other residents and staff, I knew this is where I wanted to be.

My mother has been a resident at Dove Estates Memory Haven for almost two years. The nursing staff and aides are very attentive to my mother’s needs and go above and beyond to make all the residents feel at home here. They also are very good at communicating with family if a problem arises. The kitchen staff fixes every meal on site and if a resident does not want what is on the menu, an alternative is usually prepared for them. The housekeeping staff keeps each room clean and makes sure that the overall facility stays clean. If my mom or a family member has any issue, a call or visit with one of the nurses or any member of the administration usually resolves the issue quickly. The accounting staff files the necessary Long Term Care insurance paperwork quickly which results in prompt processing and payment of the insurance reimbursement. Based on my interaction and experience with the facility administration, the nurses, and the staff of Dove Estates Memory Haven, I know that my mother is in good hands and receiving some of the best care in West Wichita.

Last time I went to visit my grandmother, I overheard a cleaning staff member getting yelled at by management. This shows a severe lack of actual leadership in this business, and I'm afraid to think of how they treat my grandmother if they treat the staff like that.

The elderly in this establishment are treated like cattle from the nurses, and the management actuvely abuses their work staff. TURN AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR GRANDPARENTS!
