Super clean facility and friendly staff. I’ve gotten to speak to some residents every so often I visit and every time they look and talk so happy and relaxed.

My mother was in memory care. The amount of neglect she endured was awful. She’d go weeks without having been showered or clothes changed. Soiled linens left in room for days…Extraordinarily difficult to reach anyone to discuss concerns. High turnover with staff and management. Removed my mom and placed her closer to home where she is loved and cared for. I get phone calls to update me on services completed.

The staff at Terrabella and the memory care director really show care to the residents back there. Having attended multiple events at the building show that they try very hard to include and improve the life of every resident on memory care.

Terra Bella is the most unprofessional facility I have ever encountered. My mother Lillie Jean Edwards was a resident there for 10 years. She was not happy there. There were a few good CNAs but the good ones always leave. They change staff at a ridiculous fast pace. In 10 years there were at least 7 different directors. My mother went through 5 different rooms. The most uncaring, lack of empathy and compassion people I have ever encountered. Since Terra Bella took over my mother had at least 15 UTI and that's because she was being neglected. Laziness staff that was only there to collect an easy paycheck. I will end on the last neglect she endured. March 18th my mother who was bedridden was placed in a wheelchair struggling to breathe left alone and for how long I don't know. By my time line she possibly was left for over 4 hours. Terra Bella is trying to cover it up. My mother passed away 10 days later. Very bad management and staff. If this place was your only option, I would choose death. Thank God my mother is finally free from this horrible place.

My overall review is to avoid this place. My father was in memory care at TerraBella for about 18 months. During that time there turnover was very high - 4 executive directors and many memory care directors. Many of the care givers in the memory care unit are very nice and caring and the activities director was very nice to my dad. However, my main complaints are: 1) they left soiled linens in a basket in his room for days on one of my visits and the room reeked 2) they only communicate with you when they want you to sign a care plan or they are telling you about a rate increase 3) difficult to get in touch with them to be able to talk to a resident 4) they love to schedule in-house dr visits for a resident without telling the family and when it is not really needed and 5) the leadership have zero empathy or compassion. My father passed away and we were notified by hospice which was the correct procedure. However, after he died, neither the memory care director nor the executive director said anything to us. How about a card or a short e-mail expressing sympathy? The only time anyone said anything was when we contacted the business office to arrange to clean out his room so the contract (and billing) could be terminated. That was it. Pathetic. Also, be prepared for annual 7-10% rate increases. Lastly, get your loved ones on hospice as soon as possible so they can get better care. No, I would never recommend this place.
