the level of care seems to be working well for my mom which helps give me peace of mind.

While visiting today about changes in the community while trying to approach the head chef with the black coat with long braids I’m assuming and she wearing glasses her demeanor and energy was unwelcoming I just walked straight pass her she didn’t speak or even look my way I just felt no connection to this place wondring if I’m making the right decision to leave my love one there I know everyone have bad day I hope hers get better soon it really looks like a nice place to have my family stay there

This place is amazing , I moved my mom here she loves it she came from a bigger senior living home but being here I’ve seen an incredible change. I wanted to bring this to the attention of all because I’ve sat in with my mother an we eat at the table during her dinner time on certain days . It’s some heavier lady that’s very dark she sits sometimes in front but works in kitchen she’s spoke to my mother in a tone I did not like because she had a hard time deciding on her food . I understand working in this type of facility you have to have patience and be kind an understand that they have moments where things can be harder for them. I asked her to allow me to speak with my mom but she didn’t want to eat anymore my mother kept asking to go to her room . Which wasn’t normal an I always love just being able to see my mother smile . But I just feel if we pay so much for our parents why is her service not with a smile why is the kitchen cook I think she’s higher up because she’s always walking around but I expect for her to be cooking to at least smile , I didn’t get her name so I asked a worker they said she tahneshea. Please next time be nicer my mother has been trying to get herself together .

It's amazing to see how this facility has grown. The new staff, especially the nurse on hand, focuses on details. Ensuring that the residence needs are met. Assisting residence at meal time etc. As for the memory care department, the staff is hands on, they are so attentive to each resident. The rooms are spacious and clean. This present staff is amazing. These residence is getting excellent care. I recommend Phoenix at Johnson's Ferry for your senior needs. Dr. Thomas

An absolutely wonderful place. Moved my mother here from a larger, glitzy Independent Senior Living facility where she was floundering. Once at Phoenix, she blossomed and thrived. Small, intimate place where it is very clear that the staff truly care about the residents and treat them as they would treat their own family. They were able to support her completely as her dementia progressed, until she passed. Would highly recommend Phoenix for anyone needing an assisted living or memory unit facility.
