PILLARS AT CRYSTAL BAY (THE)

The administrator has been helpful with ensuring the proper and prompt care has been given to to my family. Would recommend placement at this facility.

My aunt was a resident at the Pillars for 4 years. During that time she came to think of it as her home. She had several primary care givers that were with her during her entire stay, and she loved them. She thought of them as family, and they treated her like family. She had dementia and as it progressed it was easier for her to see the same care givers every day. She liked the food, and especially the desserts. Her apartment was always clean and tidy. They did her laundry, and she always looked clean and well put together. She took pride in her appearance, and the staff always helped her look good. She loved all the activities, and I appreciated that the activity director did what ever she could to include my aunt even when her dementia got severe. My aunt was a woman of faith, and was very excited for the weekly church services. The only thing my aunt liked more than activities and church was her weekly beauty shop appointment. The beautician made her time at the shop special for her. Finally as her caregiver I appreciated that they had a dentist, eye doctor and podiatrist visit on site. It made it much more convenient for me. The Pillars may not be the newest facility in town, but the staff provide good loving care and that's what really matters.

My Mom has been living at the Pillars since 2019. The loving and caring staff have taken the best care of her. The staff treats all residents like family. Valerie the manager goes above and beyond to make sure the Pillars is the best place to live for the residents. The management, staff and residents are one big family. My Mom loves it there.

My dad moved in , March 2022.. very upset and resistant! This place has taken excellent care of him and made him feel welcomed . He now enjoys his apartment style living quarters and calls Pillars his home. They have the best director !! Valerie lives and breaths to ensure her patients are well taken care of and treated like family. This is very unique and not easy to find. To all the staff at Pillars of Crystal bay .. The Pillars is invaluable to me and my family. The Director has very high standards, and it shows. Valerie and her staff truly love the residents, I have witnessed this many, many times. My Mom is living in the best possible place for her at this time in her life, and I am forever grateful for this amazing facility.
