Pine Forest Rest Home

This place doesn’t deserve not even one star!! My mother stayed here for a month and a half, maybe 2 months. Everytime I would visit her, the staff would look at you like you some alien or something, and would whisper “who is that?” Like it matters, my mom is there and no I’m not telling y’all when I’ll show up. The rooms are small, no private bathroom in the room, everyone used the 2 they had in the hallway. Everytime I showed up, my mom has a sandwich with hard bread and barely anything on it. She hardly ever ate there. My mom told me once that when they changed her bed pad, she had maggots under her, I asked the nurses about it and they said “it was all in my moms head” but when I went back to check her trash, they sent housekeeping to take it out. Hmmm kinda red flag, 🚩 then they only accept cash payments, no other options, like what???? Another red flag 🚩 I would have not put my mom in this run down facility at all but it was my sister that is somehow friends with the owners, guess she worked a deal with her. Well, that’s my experience with this place, it screams red flag 🚩 don’t leave your loved ones here if you love them!

Love visiting with the residents. The staff does an outstanding job of making it seem like family. I have the privilege of going out there and leading devotion once a week.

My great aunt was staying there and while we were there the staff was so nice just be sure not to go in or out the door in the middle of the building it makes the alarm go off

Well my mom works there as the Kitchen Supervisor and she is kind and courageous the people are nice and fun and the residents are funny and having a great time living there
