BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! My father has been here nearly a year and it has been one issue after another. (too many to list) Now, while on hospice care, the service has gotten even worse!! The CNA's are outstanding but the "skilled nurses" lack any competence, skill, and are purely lazy. Manager, Tammy, lacks compassion and communication skills. Medication orders stopped and days later they are still trying to give them. Comfort medications are ordered and not followed through with time after time. No laundry done, no cleaning or sanitizing. I guess since a resident is dying, it's an excuse to just stop providing competent care? It was all sunshine and roses promised when a new private-pay resident applied, but soon became evident that the more you pay the less service you get. I wouldn't wish this place on anyone!! Where is the 0-star option?

So I've been visiting distant relative for over a year and always thought staff was doing a very good job. Staff always complimented what a good friend I was, always helpful, kind, and loving. Yesterday I visited the staff was rude unhelpful room smelly and dirty. I said nothing just there for a visit. The staff said I was rude, none of them I'd seen before, told the family I was rude to cover themselves! Now I can no longer visit! This is wrong! Maybe contact BBB!

Warm, inviting facility. Staff and residents appear happy and well cared for. I've worked or been in quite a number of nursing homes and this was impressive. Loved the encouraging scripture on the walls, individual doors of patients with special things, staff is in ministry to the elderly not just a job. A place I would feel comfortable with a loved one being at and even a place I would feel privileged to work at.

My mother has been a resident for nearly 20 years. These have been the most pleasant years of her life. The staff keeps the facility meticulously clean. Even the smell of the place suggests a clean and healthy environment. The staff is always ready to help Mom at any time of the day or night. Mom loves the food and the camaraderie of meal time. As the person responsible for her wellbeing, I am immediately informed of any unusual event or problem. Mom is 101 years old. During a recent visit to the funeral home that we eventually expect to use, the folks there commented on how often when obituaries came out, those who were the oldest seemed to list their place of residence as Pine Haven. I cannot recommend Pine Haven strongly enough if anyone is looking for a warm, caring and loving home for an aging parent.

My father is currently in the rehabilitation wing. The rehab is really good. However in the evening there are nights with really bad service. The last 2 nights my mother put him to bed. He range his buzzer for assistance and 25 minuets later no response. This is very poor service and I will not recommend this to place to anyone. I was always told that this was the place to go. Apparently not.
