Pine Hill

After a year in and out of hospitals and rehab facilities, we found ourselves in the situation of trying to find an assisted living home for my brother. We knew we would not be happy with an ‘institutional facility’. A friend recommended Kenwood Care Assisted Living. I met with Victoria and visited the Maple Hill Home. At the time there were 11 residents and several caregivers. The home was clean and the caregivers were helpful and friendly. What a breath of fresh air! Victoria and John (the owners) made the on boarding process as easy as possible. They sent a complete package of information detailing the requirements and their responsibilities. The house manager, Zeny, is wonderful. She helped complete the medical documentation and made arrangements to meet the in-house nurse the first week my brother was admitted. Another caregiver, Floyd, made Harry feel at home and helped him get comfortable in his new surroundings. The service the home provides is amazing Carla provides activities every Monday & Wednesday morning. A person comes in the first Tuesday of each month to play the guitar & sing songs. He did a great job with Frank Sinatra songs. A few of the patients chimed in and they all had smiles on their faces. Every time we visit, there are delicious aromas of their next meal coming from the kitchen area. My brother had his annual doctor appointment after being in the home for 2 months. The doctor commented on how well he looked – better than he’d seen him in a few years. We are very pleased with the home, the attention given my brother and the positive progress he has made in the last 6 months. I would highly recommend Kenwood Care Homes.

Compassionate care in a lovely clean setting. I would recommend Kenwood Care to other adult children looking for a top quality assisted living home for their elderly parents. The staff is responsive and responsible. They keep family members updated on how their loved ones are doing.

John and Victoria run such amazing homes. The staff is so kind, considerate, and loving. My grandmother is as comfortable in their care as she would be in her own home. She is always engaged, happy, and content. I can not recommend them enough! They provide such a loving, comfortable environment.

My father has been at Pine Hill for seven years. It has been seamless. He is cared for and love by all staff. Sometimes when you walk into a senior home, there is a certain smell. This place smells wonderful every single day that I have come by. It is so well kept, clean and beautifully maintained. I would live here! I can't say enough good about Victoria and her staff!

In the summer of 2011, we knew our parents were in need of assisted living, due to problems of mobility, daily hygiene needs and memory issues. We were blessed to discover Pine Hill, the delightful owners, John and Victoria Sessler and the ever present caring staff. We have been so pleased with the ongoing level of care that is delivered with kindness, compassion and a personal touch on a daily basis. The owners directly oversee the care of the patients and the workings of the facility. They are, also, an amazing resource of information regarding elder care and have been incredibly helpful in guiding us through challenging situations regarding our parents' needs. Pine Hill has a warm and friendly atmosphere and, as a family, we always feel welcome to visit anytime of day. It is now 2018 and we are more than grateful for the care that Mom and Dad have received through these past years and for the relationships we share with the staff and other residents.
