The dining experience alone sets this place apart. I've eaten lunch here with my grandmother three times, and the chef creates meals that taste restaurant-quality while accommodating her dietary needs without making it seem like an accommodation.

My mother has been at Pineview Cottage for eight months now, and the transformation in her confidence is remarkable. The staff remembers details about her life and incorporates them into conversations, and the memory care program feels thoughtfully designed rather than clinical. We can't imagine her anywhere else.

visiting my dad last week, i was struck by how the cottage setup feels nothing like a typical senior facility. he's made genuine friendships, and the activities coordinator actually listens to what residents want to do rather than just scheduling things.

May be a great place if you want to drop someone off and not be involved in their care. The staff do a very good job but appear to be afraid of the owner, and for good reason. Don’t expect updates and don’t ask questions. They can and will move your loved one from assisted living into memory care, which for some is a bonus. I asked for updates before heading out of town, then was notified while on I-75 that my mom would be moved that day. I questioned it, and we were given 30 days notice to vacate. That was the second time the owner lost her temper with me. She claims to be an expert, and probably does have the education and experience, but can’t actually deliver. Very unprofessional. I saw her parked in the unloading space next to the handicapped space several times Had I seen that before moving in, I may have made a different decision, but by the time I saw that it was too late. We paid almost as much in fees as we did for the time that my mother actually lived there. Edit February 2026: I have heard that the business has been sold and is in better hands now

My Mother has lived at Pineview for close to 2 years, and it has been absolutely wonderful for her! The staff truly feel like family, and they do so much more than care for the residents. The people that live there are rarely alone in their rooms, instead they gather together in the main living rooms for crafts, movies, puzzles and music therapy. The facility is immaculate, and the food would rival that of local restaurants. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place for our Mom. The best part is she really does refer to it as "home," which is such a comfort to us!
