PLANT ASSISTED LIVING SERVICES

The Plant Home was the perfect fit. There are many considerations when choosing an assisted living facility; safety, compassion, spirit, diligence, cleanliness, etc., come to mind. These are just a few examples of an extensive list of things families worry about when contemplating this big decision. Our Mother and our family were incredibly pleased with our decision to choose the Plant Home. Mom was happy there, well cared for, felt cared for and she became part of that gentle social community. The staff were wonderfully attentive and involved in a wide range of daily events. There were wholesome activities, music, entertainment, interesting speakers, and of course, always excellent food! The staff always communicated well with our family members and made certain we were involved when necessary. But the most important thing was that mom thrived at the Plant Home. She enjoyed her 7 years there and that made us incredibly happy too.

My mother enjoyed living at the Plant Home for almost 7 years. The staff was always very attentive and provided excellent compassionate care. There was always a warm sense of ‘family’ at the Plant Home. She enjoyed the many activities offered daily and looked forward to their outings as well. The staff always went above and beyond to make birthdays and holiday seasons extra special for everyone. Perhaps the most important was the excellent communication between the staff, family, and medical personnel. It was a great comfort knowing Mom was always very well cared for there. The Plant Home property is in a beautiful location sitting on the shores of the Kennebec River. My mother loved looking out on the meticulously manicured lawns, beautiful flower and vegetable gardens and to the Kennebec River. She found it to be very peaceful. Thank you to all the staff who make the Plant Home a very special place to live.
