My mom went here in Sept 2024...my dad and I agree my mom could not have been in any better place. Mom's Alzheimers had gotten bad enough that my dad couldn't continue to care for her on his own. Alzheimers and she had become a fall risk. I cannot stress enough the "home" environment here not hospital environment. The staff truly became family. My dad still communicates with several of the workers. I've been meaning to do a Google review or something since Mom's passing in Nov 2025. The personal care she got bar none saved her life and made the last 15 or so months soooo nice for her AND our family. Hands down the best place around and I've seen some local doozies. Thank you Dupu...for easing my dad's life AND for loving my Mom (Janice Franklin) we are forever in your debt.

Alina Dupu and every staff member were unbelievably awesome. They always had smiles on their faces and greeted me by name each time I visited. They were kind, compassionate and caring with my husband. His hospice nurse and I were discussing Dupu, and she has know Alina for about 20, and travels all over the Houston area and she told her children if she ever needs to be in a facility, Dupu is where she wants to go. What a wonderful testament from someone who's in the medical field herself! I can not say enough about this facility. My husband just passed away yesterday and they've already reached out with their condolences. You definitely would not get this type of personalized care from a large corporate run facility. If you ever need this type of facility, definitely go tour Dupu.

Summary - a loving and capable group care home for your loved one in need of higher levels of assisted living. My mother spent the last year of her life at this facility. The owner, Alina, is trained in a medical profession, so it is reflected in the training, procedures, and record keeping that they follow. You can be assured that your loved one's vital signs will be taken, their medications will be administered accurately, and personal body care will be taken care of. But what truly makes this facility special is their staff. They really care for the residents with all their heart. They treat them as people, they understand them for their disabilities and needs, and they have compassion for their suffering. Your loved one will be regularly bathed, dressed in clean clothes, and have access to a social setting with other residents for a few hours every day depending on their condition. I truly call them my mother's "last family" in her final phase of life. They loved her, and she loved them, as they were her own. It was a blessing for her to live here at a time when her need was the greatest.

Plantation assisted living has been my great aunts home for the past few years and it really does feel she has a part of her old home with her. The employees are very professional and welcoming and always make her feel safe and wanted and have taken the best care of her needs. With home cooked meals every day, games, daily interactions and much more as well as holidays being celebrated here every year making it feel so homey. I haven’t seen her happier in any other facility before bringing her here. I am very grateful to all of the employees and to Alina the owner for always making sure my aunt is taken care of. We have nothing but great things to say about this place, and I can rest peacefully at night knowing she is in good hands.

Alina visited my dad prior to moving in. She put her arm around my dad's shoulder, and invited him to come stay at her house with her family. He had just been through an extended hospital stay, several weeks in a rehab center, and was worried about moving from independent living to assisted living. Alina's kindness put him at ease. He has been at Plantation Assisted Living for about two months. He loves it. The enjoys the home cooked meals and being able to have input in the menu. The staff take such good care of everyone and are so patient and caring. They make him feel like family. It is a quiet comfortable place to live. The staff is great to work with. Thank you to Alina and her family for taking such good care of my dad. I can't image a better place for him.
