Moving Mom from her home was the toughest thing I’ve ever had to do. She was unsteady, and our family didn’t have the skills for the qualified care she needed. But when we met Veronika and Ben, along with the caretakers and the amazing kids, we felt right at ease with their professionalism and caring approach. The home is bright, very clean and uncluttered, and quite welcoming. Mom’s room has a lovely view of roses and flowering bushes. There’s a big community room for music or TV, and the residents get visits from musicians, social activity coordinators, and even a podiatrist. The staff is gentle, compassionate, and patient - and they get the job done. And the kids! They brighten up the day for everyone. It feels like home (with six grandparents). The soon-to-open climate-controlled (enclosed) patio is going to be a real treat. My family feels lucky to have found Pleasant Valley Family Care. I highly recommend PVFC.

Pleasant Valley Family Care provided a caring environment for my mother-in-law with advanced dementia for several years (2023-2025). My wife and I were very happy with the daily care she received. The owners Veronica and Bernard are wonderful, understanding, compassionate, and attentive. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything!

Absolutely, 100,000% percent, the best facility I could even imagine to place my father in. Veronica and Bernard are phenomenal human beings who have their residents best interests at heart. They do have particular visiting hours which is understandable when you have elderly residents with varying disabilities and care needs. I love that they put their residents needs, care and safety ahead of what is convenient for others. They are transparent and communicative about this and everything. I am so happy and relieved that my father is in the best hands available.

I highly recommend!! Ben and Veronica are the most kind and compassionate people who treat their residents with dignity and respect. They were born for this! The house and residents are always clean and well fed. My dad went there on hospice and we had little hope he would make it past a few months.. His health improved so much because of the care he was receiving and he lived another 2 years!! How amazing!!
