Poet’s Walk of Leesburg has truly been a blessing! After settling our father in several months ago, we are even more impressed than we were upon arrival. Frankly. I originally thought after first touring, “This is too good to be true.” “The staff cannot possibly be as truly caring and teamwork minded as this first impression appears.” “I’m sure the care will not be as personalized to our specific wishes and needs as we would like.” It IS and they ARE! Originating with the top management, down to each member of the “staffamily” (my term😉), their standard operating procedure is consistently executed above and beyond the call of duty. They do indeed have an efficient and professional facility regarding the expectations set for all employees. However, a written job description could in no way adequately convey the breadth of compassion and attention to personal care afforded by all staff to each individual resident. The respect and dignity residents are shown; the encouragement and kindness they are given, the creative details and engaging activities are the closest to (and in many ways surpass!) what I as family member could offer my father at this precious stage of his life. I am so grateful for Poet’s Walk. My father is content, happy, and participating in events and activities we assured them he would NOT be interested in! In fact, the residents as a whole are exponentially more calm and relaxed than at any other facility I’ve seen. (And I did absolutely did due diligence in researching options for care!) The management team is extraordinarily responsive to any concerns or comments. From executive director and admissions, nursing supervisor, kitchen, maintenance, and activities director and all staff, they blend beautifully forming a well rounded team. The bar has been raised as an example to which other communities should aspire.

Poet's Walk is a wonderful memory care community in Leesburg, Virginia. Hanny and Savannah are true professionals who go above and beyond for all who reach out to them and truly understand how to care for their residents with memory challenges. The community is well-managed, and provides a comforting, peaceful environment. Make sure to visit here if you are in need of memory care for your loved one.

Poet’s Walk of Leesburg delivers exceptional care with a true family feel. The leadership team is outstanding—Executive Director Hanny leads with heart and professionalism, ensuring a well-run and compassionate community. Savannah, in Administrative Director, brings warmth and dedication, making every interaction so meaningful. Cecilia, the Director of Nursing, provides top-tier clinical leadership with genuine compassion. Maintenance Director Mike is simply amazing—always responsive and deeply caring. The entire team creates an environment that feels like home and is a blessing to every resident and family.

I have an elderly family member in Poet's Walk, who has been a resident since August 2024. I visit on a weekly basis on different days. The residents are well cared for. The facility is clean and smells fresh. My family member always receives top notch care. The entire staff treats the residents with dignity, respect and courtesy. They also find ways to keep the residents engaged and motivated. I highly recommend this memory care community. Keep up the great work.

My first visit to Poet's Walk Leesburg, A Spring Hill Memory Care Center located off Battlefield Parkway, is a beautiful location for senior assisted living. At first, I wasn't aware this facility existed because the Google Maps directions isn't correct. Or better yet, not accurate for this specific location. But it does get you there without too much inconvenience. The building is a single level property that extends the length of almost two blocks, which is quite a bit of area for a facility that seems to exist only when you're aware of it. But, I think that is a plus. The senior living quarters are not too close to the real traffic of Battlefield Parkway or its furthest and most active road Route 7. In any case, this facility is beautifully laid out and the interior is spacious and very welcoming. I met a few of the residents while I was there and they seemed very relaxed and comfortable. In addition, the staff was super friendly and ready, willing, able to provide assistance. Even if you feel that you don't need it, it is offered with sincerity just the same. The rooms are large and the restrooms are just as spacious too. I see quite a few senior living communities and I like the Poet's Walk after just one visit.
