Pomeroy Living Sterling Assisted

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Pomeroy, especially the director Mary. She has been an absolute godsend in helping my family navigate the difficult decision to put a loved one into a memory care facility. The amount of time and care she has extended to us has been invaluable. While we were meeting with her there was a Halloween celebration happening. The residents sounded engaged and having fun. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming. Sadly there was no availability at Sterling but Mary seamlessly coordinated a tour for us at Rochester. Jonathan and all of the staff we encountered were warm and welcoming. The residents we saw in common areas were happy. As a family we are all feeling much better about the next steps in a trying journey.

Pomeroy Sterling has been an incredible place for our family providing loving care, comfort, and the kindest staff that have become like family to us. Robyn and the entire med staff made difficult moments better with an amazing ability to think quick on their feet while providing competent and gentle care. We were so pleased with the care our grandma received during her last several months that we always suggest Pomeroy to our friends. Recently, we assisted a friend as they moved into Pomeroy’s assisted living wing. Tammy was so helpful and accommodating as we needed to do it all in a short period of time. Thank you Pomeroy Sterling for all that you do!

Our family is very pleased with the care our Mom is receiving at Pomeroy Sterling. The staff are kind, caring, and very responsive to questions and requests. Moving a loved one into a facility can be challenging for everyone involved. The Pomeroy staff, especially Tammy, Robin, and Amber were so kind and compassionate and really made the transition easier. They accommodated all our moving needs and the 'herd' of us that made the move. The care staff are kind and loving. They engage with my Mom, who can be 'in a mood' at times. They encourage her to participate in activities and she does! Pomeroy was recommended to me by a friend, and each day I see why. Thank you Pomeroy Staff!

Pomeroy Living Sterling has been a wonderful experience for our Mother and our family. Tammy has been most helpful in helping make Mom's transition to her new home as seamless as possible. There have been many details needing attention, including health care, financing, insurance applications, etc. Tammy made herself available to help with all. The staff at Pomeroy is outstanding. They are always cheerful and enthusiastic with their patients, making every day filled with joy and fun. Every staff member engages each patient with warmth and compassion, and there has never been a time when I wasn't greeted warmly as I entered the building or needed help with Mom. It is comforting to know Mom is in caring and loving hands.

Pomeroy Memory Care is a wonderful place for my mom to live. She is very well cared for. They offer quite a few activities in memory care, and they encourage Mom to engage with residents and staff outside of her apartment. I am so happy with the staff, and I would encourage anyone having an older loved one, with or without memory issues, to stop in and take a look at everything Pomeroy has to offer.💜 Thank you to all of the wonderful and dedicated caregiving staff and management.
