My folks have lived at Prairie City landing for almost a year now. Since the move, my mom has moved into Harbor ( memory care) and my father remains in his apartment upstairs. I can’t say enough good things about PCL. It comforting to know they are in such a caring safe environment. Especially, when I’m traveling and can’t visit frequently. The staff is always so friendly and helpful, my folks enjoy the food, and common areas always clean and inviting.

Since mom's first day on the Prairie she has loved living here. Mom has taken part in many outings and especially every single exercise class. She may repeat herself, but is ALWAYS positive when it comes to her apartment, food, friends etc.

As a musician, for years I have had the opportunity and pleasure to share music at Senior Living Facilities throughout several Northern California Communities. When my Father-In-Law was exploring Senior Living options, I was prepared to provide him my opinion. Although I appreciated and valued the many Senior Living Facilities I had become familiar with, I highly encouraged him to assess my first choice which was Prairie City Landing. Throughout life he has been somewhat a recluse. Due to the warm welcoming, ongoing care, personal involvement and sincere friendship of amazing staff members, as well as with other residents, he quickly blossomed, comfortably and happily embracing his 'new home.' The many activities offered to satisfy the varied interests of residents are amazing, but it is the happiness and real sense of belonging that has now made occasionally turning down invitations to visit us at our home heartwarming and smile inducing. I only wish the overall rating scale offered a sixth star.

We love living at Prairie City Landing. At first it was an adjustment after being in our former house for 20 yeats, but the staff and community have been so welcoming. Even our dog Barkley has really adjusted well to his change of home. One thing that has surprised me is how much I enjoy being around the younger staff. We had lived in a 55 and over community for 20 years. I feel like younger in spirit because of the staff. The residents have really opened their arms to us, too. We made this choice to move to Prairie City Landing at this stage in our lives. I have met others whose families looked at many communities and chose Prairie City Landing over others. Knowing that has made me feel that we made the right decision. Oh, I also would like to mention that the food is very good, too.

I absolutely love Prairie City Landing!! As one of their fitness instructors, I get to meet many of the residents. Everyone there is always so happy! When you walk in the door there’s always good food smells coming from the dining area! The place is always kept nice and clean and feels extra-festive for all of the holidays! They offer a great variety of fitness classes and have a nice gym to workout in. And they are always going on some fun field trip! Most notable are the friendships developed and the opportunities for social engagement. Good foods, happy friends, exercise, and going on adventures - all key to becoming a super-ager! These people are living their best lives at Prairie city Landing!
