One of your residents has been keeping fish tanks here. This is a health hazard, primarily because she has been keeping the fish tanks in poor condition. She has been keeping multiple goldfish and bettas in poor conditions (tanks too small, cloudy water, etc.) for a while now, and every time they die, she buys new one after new one after new one and calls them “rescues”. This has caused an outrage in many of the Facebook aquarium groups she posts in because experienced fishkeepers know that goldfish need a minimum of 75 gallon tanks to live long healthy lives. People have tried helping her care for the fish properly and giving her advice but she does not listen. IMPORTANT NOTE : Another concern is that fish carry mycobacterium (TB) and this can cause very nasty infections that can be passed to people, it is also contagious, and it would require surgery and even possible amputation to treat. A fish tank that is kept in poor conditions in a group home full of people with mental/physical/medical issues poses a huge risk of these nasty infections that would require surgery/possible amputation and are extremely difficult to cure. It is probably best that the fish tanks are removed and that she no longer be allowed to keep fish tanks there anymore
