My wife and I have only praises for Presbyterian Village North. Plenty of activities including entertainment in our large auditorium. There are patio homes as well as apartments. My wife and live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment in “The Villas”.

Rude staff. Gave orders rather than asking. Problems with giving the correct medicine. The staff would say certain medicine was given when it hadn't. Also, very slow to respond when called.

Independent Living is great! My dads lived in Hawthorne for 2 years & I still smile every time I visit. Love his friends, the activities, the food & of course the people who work there & the new buildings & facilities. The grounds, Walking path, Dog park, putting green, work out area that rivals health clubs w a wonderful pool. Check it out :)

This is the best place I would ever go to or recommend anyone to go to. The staff is outstanding, professional, and the food is first rate! There are so many amenities including the fabulous workout room and the wonderful therapists that will make your stay here a memorable one and keep you from wanting to go home!

My grandmother was treated poorly. We were constantly have to remind the staff to help with basic needs. The staff was not friendly or attentive. They gave her 1 day notice to relocate her to a different facility based on the fact they removed her from rehab to assisted living. My mother asked numerous times and was at the facility daily checking status. The facility is clean and well furnished but the vibe is toxic. You can tell this is a management issue. Clearly the managers don’t care about their staff, patients or their nurses. You can sense it from the minute you walk in. They have no empathy for their patients or the families. I can’t imagine how they treat patients whose families aren’t up there checking on the family daily. DON’T PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!
