The Sharpest Edge

Terrible management. They are rude to guests and treat patients like they can't wait for them to die. Someone I cared deeply about was there and when I visited, they had a care chart and according to that it had been over 24 hours since anyone was even in the room. He had made a bathroom mess and was all curled up weird. Total neglect. Then there's this old lady that drives a white SUV that works there, she cusses out little kids for walking through the field. All she had to do was ask them and explain the situation but instead she's yelling and cussing at kids that can't be older than 7 or 8. I witnessed the entire thing two separate times while visiting a patient. She drives up aggressively and one time she yelled from the widow, the other time she got out, and to me it looked like she was going to hit one of them but thankfully she didn't. But there's no need to scare little kids like that. I can't believe they employ someone like that. Needless to say, nobody in our family will ever go there again, for any reason. I'll pay out of pocket before I let insurance send anyone there. But even insurance will cover much better places, even close by, and they're probably not as expensive. My advice to you is to find another place no matter what the cost. It's not worth the anguish.

My dad has dementia and lives in a memory care facility. A few weeks ago he fell and broke his hip. After surgery they brought him here for rehab. All of the crew we've met are excellent. Everyone knows him by name, the shave him daily and make sure he's eating and cared for. We feel lucky that he's here and improving.

My dad was here for awhile and the staff were so nice and friendly to him. They were so friendly to my mom and I too. I wouldn't mind volunteering there someday, if you guys take volunteers. Thanks for all your help.
