This is the WORST place that you could EVER put a loved one. It should be shut down. My Mom was here and they literally stole EVERYTHING she owned. We brought her a new television for her room and the staff stole it and put it in their break room. Although my sister and I live in Metro Detroit, My Mom had spent much of her life in Mt. Pleasant and wanted to be near friends and her church. Everytime we visited the facility was filthy and smelled of urine and feces. My Mom was not showered regularly during her time there. My Mom lost 20-30 pounds during her time there, and suffered from malnutrition when we moved her, going from approximately 130 pounds to approximately 100 pounds. She regularly had severe bruises and black eyes. We were told they were self inflicted, although it's NEVER happened since we moved her to a facility here. She was also, severely dehydrated. Care Packages that we sent to her were never given to her. Food and snacks that we brought for her to have in her room were taken by staff. The Director repeatedly lied to my family about most everything. Phones are rarely answered and you will never get a call back. This was difficult considering we lived 2 1/2 hours away and were at their mercy to get information regarding our Mom. My Mom was put in a somewhat decent room when she was admitted. Two day's later I was informed that she had to be moved to another room as she didn't meet the requirements to be on the side that she was admitted to. When we made it there a few weeks later, the new room was a fraction of the size, the toilet was broken, there was mold throughout the shower, and the drywall was cracked with paint peeling in her new room. They refused to move her back but said they would try to get her into a nicer room. Never happened. All of her personal belongings from the first room were gone when we visited. No one had any answers where her belongings went. New clothes, room decor, bedding, pillows, etc. I could go on and on, but I won't. So many nightmare stories. I have spoken with other people in Central Michigan that have had the same experience with loved one's at this facility.

When finding a loved one a new home where they will need assistance living is a hard task! Thankfully Prestige made everything easy. They truly make it feel like home. The love and care my mom receives daily blows me away. I'm thankful for all the staff at Prestige.

The staff at Prestige Centre are very attentive, caring, loving, helpful. My Mom was always well taken care of at Prestige. When she passed the staff was kind, considerate, and loved on mom every day.

Our mom is new to Prestige Center and we didn't understand the process or much about making this transition. All the staff at Prestige has been so helpful and they worked diligently to get mom in after a stay in rehab. They helped ease our anxiety over mom living in assisted living by showing us patients when we didn't understand, warmth helping us getting her settled, and the continued geltleness that has welcomed not just mom but our whole family. We truly feel that the Prestige staff is a continuation of our family and we are pleased to call home❤️

My mom has been in Prestige Centre just over a month and our family could not be more happy with her care and the compassion that staff has for my mom and our family. This is the first time our family has experience with a loved one in assisted living and the care and guidance we received from Laura and the staff was very comforting. We had lots of questions that were answered in a timely manner and they helped us navigate this new situation. Staff always has a welcoming smile in person or when they answer the phone and knowing our loved one is in this type of environment is truly comforting.
