Okay these comments are kinda not true the managers and most not all but most of the care givers including med techs treat the resident like there not a person for example there was this resident that had a bruise on her neck and they put a turtle neck on to hide it and she was hurting begging to go to the E.R and never took her she ended up passing away later that week and gave cpr to a DNR patient and hopefully they get sued… so the moral is don’t bring your family there for assistance I sure as hell took mine out of there

Please read my updated 4 star 2024 review. In 2023 this facility went through a major overhaul as far as staffing and also other areas that were important to improve the care of the people who reside here. The leadership and the care and concern of all of the staff and especially Wolanda the facility manager Are 100% different than what they were when I wrote my one star 2020 review. Please note the owner response was in regard to my 2020 review! Whenever you have a loved one that has to be placed in an assisted facility it is never easy and because I was long distance and my mom had special requirements to remain in the Portland area this was the facility that truly met many of her needs and then went to even exceed her needs towards the end of her life. As an assisted living facility they do have limitations however they worked very hard and diligently to provide me resources so that she could remain at the facility even as she needed extra care. One of the reasons I appreciated this facility was because it is intimate and yet large enough to care for multiple people but small enough to still have a family atmosphere. The staff truly embraced they were a family within a family for my family. And I have to say the meals were good and food plentiful. I was at the facility for multiple days every other week January 1, 2024 to March 5, 2025 so I believe I have a good sense of how this facility is run. I have seen many people step in and step up to help when and where needed. Especially Wolanda and several others. I know my mom felt loved by the people who work here. My reason for the 4 stars is because I believe the amount of staff could still be improved, however I also realize it takes a VERY special type of person to do this type of work, and it is important to find the right people. Congratulations to you all for the huge improvement in care and other areas

My mom has been here for several years now. It's light, bright, friendly, the staff have been jewels, and there's always things offered to do community wise if the residents want. No place is perfect, but I've seen this team pull together over an over again to meet everyone's needs. Easy for me to recommend.
