I came to Princeton Village to begin the process of moving my mom in and was working with the sales director to obtain an assessment. This was a time-sensitive and emotional situation for my family. Unfortunately, the experience quickly became frustrating and concerning. The resident care coordinator showed little urgency or concern and stated that an assessment could not be completed for at least a week, despite the clear need. I personally overheard the sales director advocating on our behalf and even involving the executive director to try to move things forward. Both the executive director and resident care coordinator appeared indifferent to the urgency of the situation, which made it feel as though my family’s needs simply did not matter. Neither came in to speak with us, or to give us any reassurance that we mattered. I later learned that the sales director was fired. I normally do not leave reviews, but I felt compelled to speak up. I can confidently say he was not the problem with this community. The lack of empathy, urgency, and accountability we experienced raised serious concerns. Families facing difficult decisions deserve compassion and responsiveness. Sadly, that was not our experience here.

I visited Princeton Village in a confidential, observational capacity to independently assess front-office professionalism. Based on what I observed, there are legitimate concerns. The business office manager appeared visibly annoyed and irritated, creating an unwelcoming and dismissive environment for visitors. Additionally, three care staff were gathered at the front desk laughing and using a computer for non-work purposes while residents and families were present. This conduct was inappropriate for a senior living setting and reflected poorly on supervision and workplace culture. These observations raise concerns about operational standards and professionalism. Families and employees alike would be wise to proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before relying on this community

Warning to families: I toured this community and was alarmed by what we experienced. Aside from the Sales Director—who was professional, welcoming, and genuinely caring—the staff was openly hostile. Multiple employees had scowls on their faces, acted annoyed by our presence, and complained about residents and visitors within earshot of my family during the tour. I later learned that the Sales Director—the only person who treated us with respect—was fired. That decision alone speaks volumes about the culture and leadership here. Without him, there is no chance we would place my father in this community. If this is how families are treated on a tour, I can only imagine how residents are treated behind closed doors. Proceed with extreme caution.I
