RAMONA SENIOR LODGE ASSISTED LIVING

Ramona Senior Lodge has been a blessing to our family these last few years. The staff is amazing and it’s a welcoming environment that makes you feel at home. I would recommend them to anyone looking for Senior Care.

I recently had a tour of this lovely facility by the administrator Serena. She knows her residents and genuinely cares for them. It's an inviting senior living community that offers residents the love and care of being in a home away from home. Beautiful grounds well maintained. Nice outdoor pool. The rooms are very clean, large, and great window views of the country. It's a pet friendly environment, which seniors love. I met her friendly and efficient caregiver Nancy. It truly feels like a home, and I would recommend this place for one of my family members.

I'm so thankful my Dad is at Ramona Senior Lodge! It's a beautiful spot with mountain views and horses on the property. It's a very unique for a senior home. There are a small number of residents so each person receives as much attention as they'd like. They can cater to my father's dementia without placing him in a segregated memory care area. The doctor they use makes house visits with his black bag just like in the old days. I've got his cell phone number and he's always available. I've got very easy access to the staff as well and it's not like calling the front desk at a large facility and asking about a resident who is just a number to them. The Lodge is like living in a private home, which is great for someone who doesn't want to live in an apartment in a large tower. I highly recommend Ramona Senior Lodge!

I am the former owner of 5 dementia care homes (2012-2018) and a social worker. Operating these facilities, providing care for vulnerable, elderly residents is not an easy task, doing it well is even harder. I frequently help families place their loved ones in homes like these. They trust me because I am an expert in dementia care and follow the National Association of Social Workers ethics to ensure proper care is delivered to these people. Ramona Senior Lodge is the best RCFE home I have visited. The quality of care, services, ethics and philosophy of its operators is the highest level in San Diego county. If there is a vacancy and you have a loved one who needs this service, I cannot recommend this facility enough. It is a true gift to the community, providing families with relief, comfort and creating safe, healthy environments for our most vulnerable, highest need loved ones. Ramona Senior Lodge has been such a wonderful environment and has tremendous amount of great patience and care for all the residents. The staff has provides so much compassion for the necessities each person recommends and they make things so easy and comfortable. The grounds is a very laid-back country vibe and the owner is so outgoing and friendly and always has fun little events for everyone. I highly recommend Ramona Senior Lodge if you’d like a place for you or your family loved ones to stay.
