The Rawlin at Riverbend

Was going for a 4.5 but will round up as that’s more appropriate for this very special Memory Care Community than rounding down! As a tenured long-term care administrator, certified dementia practitioner, certified elder care coordinator, local Hospice Chaplain, and most importantly of all, Daughter of two late parents who lived with dementia, and sister/POA for older sister who lived with early onset Alzheimer’s…. I feel very confident and comfortable in saying that this is one of the best Memory Care‘s I’ve ever worked with. The team is led by a genuinely caring administrator (Carly), an amazing, positive, energetic Life Enrichment/Activity Director (Lynzee), some truly exceptional, long-term care staff (Yesenia), and many others. Although no place is perfect, good communication is key and they exceed in this area. I would recommend moving a loved one here when considering Memory Care communities in Lane County.

The Rawlin at Riverbend did a great job of taking care of my dad. He stayed there about a year until he passed away at almost 95. The Rawlin had my dad on a regular diabetic diet where he was able to stop taking insulin. His health actually improved during the last year of his life. He even stopped “sundowning” during his time there. The staff genuinely cared about my dad. I would highly recommend this place for anyone requiring memory care.

We had to make the difficult decision to put our Mom in a facility. I toured places for 2 days and decided on the Rawlin! We love the staff and the building. They always keep us updated on anything going on with her. They take our calls without hesitation. My brother lives out of town and gets updates anytime. This place is the best decision! We know she’s taken care of and safe.
