REDSTONE PARK

I needed to volunteer some service hours for National Honor Society and I chose Redstone Park. It was a great environment, all the staff was friendly and all the residents told me it was the best place to live in Brownwood.

The people at Redstone Park are like my family, they take great care of me. I love our exercise class and the different outings. I love that they take care of everything such as laundry and cleaning my room, they also have the best van driver. I would recommend Redstone Park to my friends.

We had to put my mother in law somewhere we chose Redstone, I am glad we did they took such good care of her, her medicine was given on time, they made sure she was eating well, and the food was awesome! They have wonderful activities for the residents, they exercise with them, all the staff was so very caring they treated her like family, I applode each and every one of the staff for all their help with my mother in law, I can not brag on Redstone enough, if anyone has to make the move to put your loved one somewhere please check out Redstone first! You will be amazed at the care and love they give, it also smells so good in there! Julie.

I have had a wonderful experience at Redstone. My dad has lived there for about 6 months now. The staff is very attentive to his and my needs. They seem to have his best intrest at heart. They take great care of him, getting him his meds, cleaning and making sure he eats. He loves the home cooked meals and snacks. Transportation takes us to doctor visits as he is unable to get in and out of my vehicle.

Redstone Park has a 5 Star rating, not because they give good care but because they are good at covering their tracks. During the 2 1/2 years my Mother was there she was overdosed, underdosed & not given meds. that were recorded as being given to her. All of this is documented. This kind of thing happens on a daily basis. There were times she had on the same Pullup underwear for 24 hours. I found this out by marking the underwear I put on her before I left. They said they would check on her every 2 hours but they don't even pretend to do that. The administrative staff is not helpful when problems arise. In fact they mostly look the other direction.
