REGAL RESIDENCE

My mother now lives at Regal Residence after several years at a well-known assisted living/memory care facility in Thousand Oaks. There are so many things my sister and I are grateful for now that Mom is in Don and Ribka's care. First, there is enough staff to keep her safe! Staff is on hand immediately when Mom gets up - something the other facility could not manage that resulted in Mom falling repeatedly. With Regal, Mom is attended to right away when she has a need! That has been a relief beyond words. Secondly (and excuse the TMI), Mom doesn't live in an unpleasant odor any longer. No matter what we tried at the other place, requesting more frequent attention to her needs, fighting for trash to be removed daily, etc etc the issue was never solved. At Regal, both Mom and her surroundings are always fresh and clean-smelling. I wouldn't have guessed what a big deal that is until experiencing it. Mom is surrounded by happy chatter among the staff, an upbeat vibe, their genuine affection for her, and even the smell of something great cooking in the kitchen daily for the resident's meals. It's a happy place, a safe place, a clean place. We are very grateful to have found Regal. (We were referred by two very trusted friends, both of whom told us they had incredible experiences with Don and Ribka and that they were the sweetest people providing excellent care.)

My mother is a resident here and she's SO well looked after. We moved her from a larger company led assisted living situation and could not be happier. Regal Residence is always clean, she's always happy, clean and rested. They take great care with her medications and take her out on field trips. It has been a massive relief to have found this location. The staff are caring, capable and kind. The food is home cooked. Communicating with the owners is quick and painless. Regal Residence has been incredible in every way.

I was able to tour this property during their ribbon cutting/grand opening last month and let me just say I was immediately impressed. This is not your average residential care facility. Everything, from the décor to the state-of-the-art equipment and furniture, is designed with comfort in mind. They even have a large, incredible backyard complete with an accessible pool and chair lift. Someone made a comment at the ribbon-cutting that this is the type of home the grandkids would beg to come visit. I have to agree!

Regal Residence in Simi Valley truly has it all! From thoughtful amenities to a gorgeous pool that residents and their families can enjoy — especially during our sunny California summers — this home sets the bar. And while the environment is stunning, don’t be fooled: compassionate, top-tier care remains the #1 priority here.

The owners and caregivers at Regal are top notch. They are caring and attentive to the clients and really want to give them the best experience possible. The home is beautiful inside and very clean and well taken care of and the outdoor pool area is very nice as well. It is a very welcoming environment and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a residential care facility.
